1. How do I create an Amion account?

Answer: To create an Amion account, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Amion Sign-Up Page: Go to our sign-up page.
  2. Enter Your Details: Provide your full name, email address, office address, and phone number. This information is required to verify that only legitimate healthcare providers can access our scheduling data.
  3. Profile Check: Amion will check if there is an existing healthcare provider profile that you can claim. If a match is found, you can claim the profile to streamline your account setup.
  4. Create a New Account: If no existing profile matches your information, you'll proceed to create a new account.

2. What information do I need to provide when creating a new account?

Answer: You need to provide your full name, email address, office address, employee title (MD/DO, NP/PA, RN, other), and phone number. This ensures that only authorized healthcare providers can access the schedule data, maintaining the security and integrity of our system.

3. How can I log in to Amion?

Answer: Amion offers multiple ways to log in:

  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Use your institution's credentials for a fast and secure login experience.
  • Email and Password: Enter your registered email and password.
  • Verification Code: Receive a one-time code via text or email to log in without a password. In the event that there is no phone number associated with your Amion account, you will be prompted to add one, then login and associate the phone number to your account. 
  • Apple, Microsoft, or Google: Log in directly using your Apple, Microsoft, or Google account.

When accessing, you’ll be prompted to enter your schedule access code. Upon entering, if a valid access code is found, and linked to an existing profile, you’ll be prompted to log in via one of the methods above. If no account is found, you’ll be required to create a new account.

4. What is Single Sign-On (SSO) and why should I use it?

Answer: SSO allows you to log in to Amion using your institution’s credentials. This method offers several advantages:

  • Speed: Quickly access your account without entering separate login details.
  • Reliability: Use the same login you use for your institution’s systems, reducing the need to remember multiple passwords.
  • Increased Security: Benefit from your institution’s security measures, such as multi-factor authentication, ensuring secure access to your account.

For larger schedules or institutions interested in SSO, please reach out to our support or sales team for more information on how to set up SSO for your organization.

5. I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

Answer: If you forget your password, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Login Page: Click on the "Forgot Password" link.
  2. Enter Your Email: Provide your registered email address.
  3. Check Your Email: You will receive a password reset link. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

6. Can I use my Apple, Microsoft, or Google account to log in?

Answer: Yes, Amion supports logging in with your Apple, Microsoft, or Google account. Simply select the appropriate option on the login page and follow the prompts to sign in using your preferred account.

7. Why do I need to provide my office address and phone number?

Answer: Amion requires your office address and phone number to verify that only legitimate healthcare providers access our scheduling data. This ensures the security and reliability of our service, allowing us to maintain accurate and protected schedules.

8. What should I do if I’m having trouble logging in?

Answer: If you encounter issues logging in, try the following:

  • Check Your Credentials: Ensure that you are entering the correct email and password.
  • Reset Your Password: Use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password.
  • Contact Support: If you continue to have problems, please contact our support team for assistance.

9. Can my institution set up Single Sign-On (SSO) for our team?

Answer: Yes, institutions can set up SSO for their teams. SSO simplifies the login process and enhances security. For more details and to start the setup process, please contact our support or sales team.

10. How do I claim an existing healthcare provider profile?

Answer: During the account creation process, Amion checks if there is an existing profile that matches your details. If a match is found, you will be given the option to claim the profile. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the claim process and link it to your new account.
