Advancing Your Schedule in Amion
Before publishing a schedule for the next month or the next year, you must advance your schedule to a future date. The Publish Thru date in the Publish window controls what staff members can see on Amion.com. Many schedulers use this date as a temporary draft mode while building the schedule. When the schedule is ready for staff viewing, be sure to advance the Publish Thru date so it becomes visible.

Note: You will not lose any historical data, and no existing schedules will be affected. If a January 2026 schedule has already been created, it will not be overwritten. The “advance” function for Attendings only opens the next calendar year; it does not modify or replace any existing data. For context, Attendings operate on a calendar-year cycle, while residencies follow an academic-year cycle.
