Account Verification

What is account verification?

The account verification flow is new feature in AmionNext. Through an email verification flow, scheduler are able to link to staff member records in a schedule to that person's Amion account using their work email. 

Once staff member are verified, the advantages include:

  • Initiate time off, swap, and open pool shift requests
  • Receive email and push notifications for time off requests or swap requests
  • Schedules are "claimed" and automatically added your Organizational Homepage
  • Unlock other features within My Schedule activity

As a scheduler, how do I link a staff member record to an Amion account?

To initiate the account verification flow, in Amion Manager:

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Staff section -> Staff Members
  2. Select the desired staff member record and click Edit
  3. Under Work Email, add the user's email

Back in the Staff Members view, schedulers will notice each staff member record will have one of three statuses:

  1. Unverified - unverified staff members do not have an email associated with their record.
  2. Invited - invited staff members are users who have an email added to their staff record, but have not yet completed the verification flow below.
  3. Verified - verified staff members are users who have an email added to their staff record and have completed the verification flow below. 

As a staff member, how I do complete the account verification process?

Once the scheduler, assigns the staff member the email in the Work Email, then

  1. Go to your email account
  2. Check for an email from Amion <support@amion.com> titled Action Requested: [SCHEDULER NAME] has added you to the schedule
    • Hint: If you don't see the email invite, please check your spam folder. 
  3. Click Accept Invite button within the email
  4. Log in with your Amion account and password

Your account is now verified!
