How to Submit Special Requests (Day-Off and Work Requests) on Amion

Step 1: Set Up Your Personal Password

  1. Access your schedule: Go to Amion.com and sign in to your group’s schedule. If your schedule is part of an Enterprise display, click on your department name to access the full monthly schedule.

  2. Create your password:

    • On the main toolbar, click on the My Requests icon.
    • Click on Email a login link to yourself. Check your email for a temporary password and a link to your requests calendar.
    • Click the link in your email.
    • Once you’re on your requests calendar, change the temporary password to something permanent. Click Set Password once you’ve entered your new password.

Step 2: Submit Your Requests

  1. Login to your schedule: Go to your group’s schedule again and click on the My Requests icon.

  2. Enter your personal password: Log in using the password you just set up.

  3. Select your request:

    • In the first drop down menu, choose either "days" (for specific days) or "shifts" (for specific shifts) that you want to request.
    • In the second dropdown menu, choose whether you are requesting "can work" or "cannot work".
  4. Select dates/shifts:

    • Check the boxes in the calendar for the days/shifts you want to request to work or not work.
  5. Add notes (optional):

    • If needed, you can add notes to explain your request.
    • Below the calendar, select how many days the note applies to and the start date.
    • Enter the note and click Set. A red sticky note will appear on your calendar for the selected days.
  6. Remove notes: If you need to remove a note, submit a blank note for the days you want to clear.

  7. Submit your requests:

    • When you’re done selecting dates and adding notes, click the Submit button above the calendar.
    • A confirmation message will show a summary of the requests you've submitted.
  8. Review and update: You can use the blue arrows to navigate to another month and submit additional requests, if needed. You can also go back to the request calendar at any time to review or update your availability.

Note: Your requests will remain queued up in Amion until the schedule admin imports them into the OnCall scheduler.
