What is Residency Viewer?
Residency Viewer is a redesigned display for residency schedules at amion.com. The displayed information and options remain exactly the same, but the layout has been updated to be cleaner and more modern. The new layout will be turned on for everyone viewing schedules in 2026.
Will my staff need training to use it?
No training is required. The Residency Viewer is designed to look and feel the same as the current view, so you can jump right in. Physicians and staff accessing the residency schedules will see an updated UI to access block, call, clinic and shift assignments.
As a scheduler/administrator, how am I impacted?
This change is just for the front-end. All scheduling duties will take place in OnCloud, as before.
Will the mobile app experience be different?
No, this is a web change only. The Amion app experience for iOS and Android will be un-changed.
What’s different?
Most things will feel familiar, but here are a few changes you may notice including:
- Easier navigation between pages (e.g. Block to Clinic schedule)
- Updated icons to reflect shifts based AM, PM, or Evening
- Helpful tooltips for time-off categories
