This article applies to Amion Next only. Amion Next is the new web-based platform that allows users to manage and view Amion schedule data.
The Swap Pool feature allows providers to offer shifts for trade without selecting a specific colleague. This feature enables providers to exchange shifts. Other users can view available shifts in the pool and initiate a swap if interested.
Additional troubleshooting is listed at the bottom of this guide in step 8.
- Log in to your group's schedule at amion.com. On the main toolbar at the top, click on ‘my schedule’.
- From ‘my schedule’, select the service that you want to add to the swap pool.
- Select ‘Swap Pool’ in the ‘View Window’. You can only select shifts from the current date onward.
- A confirmation appears in the bottom left, ‘Shift added to swap pool’. When viewing the service, you can also see ‘view in swap pool’ now that it is confirmed. See image below.
- If you choose to view them in the swap pool, you can see the dates, times, details, and the option to remove the shift(s) from the pool.
- If others have added shifts to the swap pool, you can ‘Propose Swap’. If enabled, your scheduler may also need to approve the swap.
- If you toggle over to ‘Open Pool’, this allows you to ‘Pick Up’ shifts without a swap. This is a great way to cover shifts in need or work additional hours.
- *Note: Some users won’t see a ‘New Request’ button. In these cases, please contact your admin.
- If swaps haven’t been enabled by your group’s scheduler, then you won’t be able to leverage this feature.
- Alternatively, if it’s been enabled, but you specifically don’t have the request button, connect with your scheduler to ensure your email address has been added and you have gone through the verification process. See image below.
- If a colleague is not receiving the swap notifications, they likely have not completed the verification process. This is something that all users will need to complete to fully leverage this feature.
