Setting Up Display Preferences
Display preferences control how your schedule looks to managers and viewers. Use them to match the calendar to your team's workflow.
Where to find them
- Go to Settings > Schedule Preferences.
- Scroll to the Display section.
- Check the boxes you want.
- Click Save in the top right.
Display options
- Use staff abbreviation in calendar view: Shows each person's abbreviation instead of their full name. This is useful when space is tight.
- Week starts on Monday in calendar view: Starts each calendar week on Monday. If unchecked, the week starts on Sunday.
- Display "Extra pay" and "Moonlighting" assignments in the public schedule: Makes these assignments visible to anyone viewing the public schedule. Uncheck to keep them hidden.
- Switch to dense format: Show service name in each cell of the Who's On Calendar view: Puts the service name in every cell, so each assignment can be read without checking the row header.
- Show unstaffed services on Who's On view: Keeps services with no one assigned visible, so coverage gaps are easy to spot.
- Collapse large schedules (20+ assignments) on Organization & Facility Who's On Views: Collapses long schedules to keep them manageable.
- Show Time-Off Category rows by default in the manager schedule: Displays time-off rows automatically when managers open the schedule.
Default viewer landing page
Choose which page viewers see first when they open your schedule:
- Month: Opens the monthly calendar.
- Who's On Today: Opens the current day's assignments.
Tip
Changes apply only after you click Save, so remember to save before leaving the page.
