Service Filters

Last Updated: September 15, 2026

Service Filters is a scheduling feature that allows Schedule Managers to group specific services together under a custom name, making it easier for end users to focus on the parts of the schedule that are relevant to them. Schedule Managers create and name these filters directly in the Schedule Editor, and once created, a Service Filter appears to end users as a "Set" they can select (e.g., "Set 1: ED On Call") to instantly narrow their schedule view to only the services that matter to them — cutting through clutter without changing the underlying schedule.

How to Create a Service Filter

  1. From the Schedule Editor click the “All Services” dropdown

  1. Click “New Filter View” to create a Service Filter
  2. In the “Title” field enter the name of your Service Filter

  1. Select the services that should display in the Service Filter
  2. Optional: Check the "Viewer Default" box to set this Service Set as the default filter when Schedule Managers open the Schedule Editor. Note: This also sets it as the default view for end users viewing the schedule on the Who's On List.

Caution: Setting a Service Set as the default view will limit what end users see at a glance, which may prevent them from noticing services that aren't included in the Set. If certain services should never be visible to end users — rather than simply filtered by default — refer to the “Services” training topic in Amion Academy for instructions on hiding services entirely.

  1. Click “Create Filter View” to create your Service Filter
  2. Click “Publish” to publish the schedule and save your changes

End users will find the Service Filter within the Schedule Who's On List. To apply it, click the "All Services" dropdown and select the desired Set (e.g., "Set 1: ED On Call").

How to Delete a Service Filter

  1. Click the “All Services” dropdown
  2. Click “Edit” next to the Service Filter name
  3. Click “Delete” to delete the filter

  1. Click “Publish” to publish the schedule and save your changes
